Miniature in the park
  • Moszna Castle

The castle was built in the middle of the 17th century. From 1866 to 1945 it was the residence of the Silesian family Tiele-Winckler. By 1900 the Neo-Gothic east wing was built. In the years 1912 to 1914 the building was enlarged by the construction of the west wing built in the Neo-Renaissance style. In 1911 and 1912 Franz Hubert von Tiele-Winckler invited the German Emperor Wilhelm II to the property for hunting. The palace has 365 rooms and 99 towers and is now partly open to the public. In the chapel chamber music concerts are held and Art Exhibitions in the Castle Gallery.
