- Knights Tower in Siedlęcin
The Knights Tower in Siedlęcin is a keep built by the Dukes of of Schweidnitz and Jauer in the 14th century. This 20 metre high rectangular structure containing living quarters constitutes the best example of its kind in Central Europe. Therefore it is sometimes called “The Brick Pearl” of Lower Silesia. Inside there are very rare wall paintings from the 14th century that tell the story of Sir Lancelot, one of King Arthur’s Knights. The paintings and the building itself create a magical aura about this place.
This miniature was built by four artists in two months.
